CARLO GAVAZZI PRESENTS THE NEW 3-PHASE MOTOR SOFTSTARTER WITH ELECTRONIC MOTOR OVERLOAD PROTECTION

RSHL Smart presents significant user- friendly features. The evolution of the Star-Delta Starter.

Carlo Gavazzi Automation, the international electronics Group with activities in designing,manufacturing and marketing of electronic equipment, presents the new 3-phase motor Softstarter with electronic motor overload protection. The new Softstarter was created as an electronic solution that can replace the traditional Star-Delta (Wye-Delta)Motor Starter single-handedly. Developed in Carlo Gavazzi’s laboratories in Malta, this new device encounters users’ needs by solving the limitations related to Star-Delta starter use. For example, it’s a remedy to space problems, as the RSHL Smart is a single component with a 45mm wide housing that can be DIN-rail mounted in a relatively smaller enclosure space. One of the major needs that users highlighted was a longer device lifespan: once again, Carlo Gavazzi comes across with a solution: this appliance’s lifespan is guaranteed by an electronic based, motor start-stop solution. In order to provide a simple device setup, RSHL Smart has an already prepared selection of Ramping Programs to facilitate typical setup. Moreover, to limit the current expenses an Automatic Current Limit program is available so that the user can adjust the desired limit level to match the application demands. “Carlo Gavazzi’s priority is to create devices that can be experienced easily and safely by customers,” says Michael H.
